To train personnel in the practical skills and job safety knowledge necessary for the operation of rider-operated pallet trucks to the accredited standards of ITSSAR and the ABA Workplace Transport 2012.

  • Introduction to the machine
  • Control familiarisation
  • Daily checks
  • Battery charging & simple battery maintenance
  • Steering procedures (unladen and laden)
  • Load weight assessment
  • Load handling (open area)
  • Load handling (confined area)
  • Working on vehicle beds & loading decks (w/a)
  • Practical skill tests

COURSE DOCUMENTATION
