Bendi / Flexi Courses now available

Bendi / Flexi Pivot Steer forklifts are becoming increasingly popular due to their ability to operate in narrow aisles and their flexibility when compared to conventional Very Narrow Aisle order pickers.   We are now able to offer Bendi / Flexi Articulated forklift safety refreshers and conversions at our Coventry training centre in a simulated warehouse environment.   Courses are of 1 or 2 day duration and group sizes are kept small to ensure trainees benefit from the maximum amount of time available on the truck.

Workplace deaths rise 07 Feb 12

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has issued a new warning about workplace safety following a rise in the number of deaths in the UK during 2010/2011. In total 171 people were killed at work during 2010/2011, which is 25 more than the previous year. In excess of 24,700 workers also suffered a major injury during the same period.
A HSE spokesperson said "These statistics highlight why we need good health and safety in British workplaces. Employers should spend their time tackling real dangers that workers face rather than worrying about trivial risks or pointless paperwork ... I'd urge businesses to help cut the number of deaths in 2012."

Training is paramount to ensuring workplace safety and there are still too many operators using equipment on which they have received little or no training - Train-a Lift are here to help reverse the trend in 2012 !
