New Management Courses - Responsibilities of Managers/Employers 22 Oct 09
We are asked many times by our customers exactly what they are obliged to do when employing operators and how they can continue to comply with health and safety legislation whilst the operator is in their charge. Ironically, the sheer volume of safety-related legislation and paperwork that an employer or manager is expected to digest can, in itself, be a major obstacle to improving safety and complying with the law.
To help you to cut through the non-relevant literature and find the information that you need most, we run one-day information courses aimed at employers, managers, health and safety officers, human resources managers and those who have any responsibility for the health and safety of operators of forklift trucks or other types of lifting equipment. These courses will start in December of this year and will run on on site for up to six delegates (495 pounds per day plus expenses).
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory obligations of Employers / Managers and Supervisors to lifting equipment operators, under the Health and Safety at Work Act. Syllabus can be found on our course pages on this website.
