Forklift truck drivers must be supervised and trained, says Aviva Insurance 05 Mar 10 With over 8,000 accidents in the UK every year involving forklift trucks, and around 10 resulting in fatality, Aviva is urging employers to provide adequate training and supervision for both new and experienced drivers.
Aviva is continuing its Simply Safety campaign, now in its third year, kick-starting 2010 with advice to businesses on the dangers of driving forklift trucks.
