Tow Tractor/Trailer Operating Safety Course
Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently operate a tow tractor/trailer.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers machine and control familiarisation, daily checks and fault reporting, battery charging and refueling, procedures for manoeuvring, coupling, reversing, the use of attachments and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Objectives |
To teach the relevant job safety knowledge and practical skills necessary for the safe and efficient operation of Tow Tractor (and where applicable multi trailer systems), to personnel required to operate these types of machines. |
Course Duration |
2 or 1 day depending on delegates’ experience and specific applications of the machine - maximum 3 delegates per course. Please note that where only personnel carriers are involved then the training would be of 1 x day duration |
