Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently operate a telescopic handler/variable reach rough terrain lift truck.
On completion of the course you will be familiar with the need to train and the statutory requirements. The course will cover rated capacities for for stability and instability, operating and site safety codes, machine and control familiarisation, daily checks including refueling and simple maintenance, steering, weight assessment, load handling, stacking and destacking procedures, along with stabilisers, leveling, travelling on site, vehicle loading and loading and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Objectives |
To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of telescopic handlers, (Variable Reach Rough Terrain Lift Trucks), standard lift height and high lift. To provide specific job training in both related job safety knowledge and practical skill applications for these types of machines. At the course end successful delegates should be able to operate their machines both safely and efficiently |
