Slinging Safety Appreciation Course
Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently select, inspect and use various types of slings and lifting tackle.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers types of slings, lifting tackle, selection and inspection, duties of a slinger, weight assessment, hand signals, methods of slinging, working with machine operators and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Objectives |
To teach the associated job safety knowledge and demonstrate the correct methods involved in the selection, inspection and use of slings and lifting tackle. To teach signalling techniques to personnel involved in slinging and lifting operations, including slingers, supervisors, safety officers, managers and safety representatives |

1 x day with a normal maximum ratio of 10 delegates per instructor |
