Safety Harness Introduction - Half Day Course
Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently use a safety harness.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers PUWER¹ and LOLER², Health and Safety at Work Act. Construction Welfare, EN Product Standards and Personal Protective Equipment Regulations. Also safety inspections, introduction to working at height, daily checks, safe access and egress, edge protection.

Course Objectives |
To teach the safety requirements and associated job safety knowledge to users of safety harnesses. To conform with the relevant recommendations and standards of the HSC Approved Code of Practice and Supplementary Guidance |

Half day according to the type of height work and delegates previous experience – maximum 4x delegates per course |
