Familiarisation Safety Course
Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently operate a Forklift Truck Jib Attachment.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers machine and control familiarisation, fitting inspecting and removing the attachment, inspection and use of lifting tackle, practical slinging procedures, signalling, transporting, depositing and much more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Objectives |
To teach the relevant job safety knowledge and practical skills necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the fork lift truck when fitted with a jib crane attachment, to operators involved in the use of this type of attachment |
