Learn how to safely setup and operate abrasive wheels, cutting discs and various air powered tools.
On completion of the course you will understand how to store, handle, test, mount and balance the wheels, ensuring safety and efficiency in your job.
As a record of your acheivement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Objectives |
To teach the relevant skills and necessary knowledge and skills required for the storage, inspection, mounting, dressing and truing of various types of abrasive wheels and cutting discs, and other various air powered tools. Please note: An appropriate machine and type or types of air tools/abrasive wheels and dressing tools should be available to our staff instructor for the purpose of this training where applicable. Trainees should also have the relevant protective equipment (eg eye protection - breathing mask - gloves as appropriate). |
