Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Courses

Course Summary
Driver CPC has been introduced by the European Union to maintain high driving standards and improve road safety. CPC is now a mandatory requirement.
New lorry drivers will need to pass the initial qualification to gain their vocational driving licence and qualify for their Driver CPC. For a new driver, the requirement to undertake a minimum of 35 hours periodic training to retain their CPC will start once they have passed their initial qualification. We can help with that.
(If you employ lorry drivers who have held a vocational licence (C,C1,CE, C1E) prior to 10 September 2009, they will have aquired rights until 9th September 2014. To keep Driver CPC and to continue driving professionally after that date, drivers will need to complete 35 hours of periodic training every five years for as long as they wish to continue to drive professionally).
Train-a-Lift can offer the following courses to count towards the 35 hours of continued professional development. Each 1 day course counts for 7 hours towards the total.
