Course Summary
Learn how to safely and efficiently operate a 180°, 360° or Mini Excavator.
On completion of the course you will understand the statutory requirements and the need for safety training. The course covers site and operating safety, machine and control familiarisation, pre-shift checks including refueling and simple maintenance, procedures for driving, hydraulic controls, parking, road site travelling, front shovel operating, excavating, trenching, backfilling, leveling and compaction and more.
As a record of your achievement, a TAL certificate of training is provided.

Course Objectives |
To teach the relevant job safety knowledge and practical skills necessary for the safe and efficient operation of wheeled and tracked excavators (180° and 360°) including mini excavators. |
